What is the benefit of having a personal Wellness Program implemented in the workplace? Proactive Programs lead to better lifestyle choices, healthier employees, better employees , better job performance = Better Health Status and Life expectancy.

As jobs in America are increasingly technical and complex, employers realize that employees are not easily expendable, it makes greater financial sense to keep them healthy and present than to replace them and train new ones. Also, in today’s economy, Companies are expecting more from their employees. Positions are eliminated, responsibilities and stress are increased, job satisfaction and productivity decreased.

With programs to boost morale, incentives to increase participation, seminars to promote life balance, stress will be reduced and performance will increase. Employees understand more is expected but need to feel supported through the process.

Our program has (5) key elements which represent the core components of a comprehensive wellness and prevention system and have been proven to be essential to getting a return on your investment.

  • 1. A wellness assessment to identify the needs for both the individual and the group as well as provide a prevention database for targeting the best opportunities for success in the population. Healthy Employees = Healthy Company!
The process of the Health Risk Appraisals and the Physical and Fitness Assessments opens the door to wellness.
Employees are then open to education, interventions, and healthy lifestyle changes. Over time employees who were not ready to change join the program. Action Plan for Employees Will Include:
Review Assessment results packets, goal setting, and health behavior change instructions and handouts. Referral to medical care when indicated / follow up to insure care was sought out and given. Target high risk groups with disease management / educational programs. Educational and nutritional programs, Exercise programs, Incentives and motivational contests. Challenge programs and Stress Management

  • 2. Personal and aggregate goal setting to give the individual and group direction.

  • 3. A variety of different opportunities for participation in health improvement programs.

  • 4. A means of monitoring progress, and providing feedback to keep individuals on track with their goals and for use in evaluating what works and what doesn’t

  • 5. An outcomes analysis strategy to measure results, justify the program, and provide marketing ammunition for expanding the service.
